MCPI Enters Oregon's Third Largest OMMP Market with New Retail Location

CARROLLTON, TX / ACCESSWIRE / March 4, 2015 / Med-Cannabis Pharma, Inc. (MCPI) continues the path to expansion and has begun the process of establishing a dispensary in Lane County Oregon. As of January 1, 2015, Lane County has the third most Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) patient registrants per county. In order to capitalize on serving and marketing to such a large patient base, MCPI has entered into a retail space lease agreement for an operational Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Lane County.

MCPI has already begun the work and renovations necessary on the structure for the dispensary location, while actively completing and complying with the regulations set forth by the OMMP in order to acquire full accreditation and operating approval. The Company is confident that it will meet all zoning documentation, security requirements, and other measures required to receive a physical certificate of registration from the Oregon Health Authority. Once a certificate has been issued, the Lane County dispensary will be fully operational and ready to serve this large patient base.

The Company will continue to emphasize the branding of its dispensaries, as The Medication Station will become the name of the newest location and the second Med-Cannabis Pharma, Inc. dispensary bearing this title. Through greater exposure and familiarity with The Medication Station name, MCPI intends to garner a brand recognition among its customers for owning distinguished dispensaries that deliver the newest and highest quality products to its customers throughout Oregon.
